yosemite.camp is operated by Joseph M. Castillo. This covers the Service specifically and sits
on top of the master policy at
joeycastillo.us/privacy — anything not covered here falls back to that. Short version:

- An account identifier — to recognize you on return.
- A display name — to show who you are to your own group.
- An avatar image — used as your icon, if you have one.
Sign-in is handled by a third-party authentication provider of your choosing. We never receive your password, and we only get the basic profile information above.
What else we store
- A session cookie (
yc_sess) so you stay signed in, plus a short-lived state cookie during login. No advertising or cross-site trackers.
- What you add — the content, sign-ups, icon, and notes you create. Visible to your own group.
On your device (offline)
yosemite.camp is built to work with no signal. To do that it caches the app and your last-known data on your own device. That data stays on your device until you clear it; logging out and clearing your browser data removes it.
Why, and where it lives
We use it only to run the Service — identify you, connect you to the right person, show your activity, and let your group coordinate. Sign-in is brokered through joeycastillo.us; your group's content is stored with secure third-party cloud infrastructure over an encrypted connection.
What we never do
- Never sell or rent your information.
- Never show ads or run cross-site trackers.
- Never share your data beyond the providers strictly needed to operate sign-in and storage.
Your control
- Log out anytime — clears your session.
- Remove your content within the Service where it provides that option.
- Delete your data — contact the operator via joeycastillo.us.
Children
A general-audience tool, not directed at children under 13. Where a family uses it together, minors are added by their own adults, who control that data.
